Jane is a Financial Advisor and Managing Partner with Sullivan Financial, LLC in South Glastonbury; serving business owners, non-profit organizations, retirement plans, individual clients, and families. She began her career as an employee at a national investment firm before joining her father, David Sullivan, in practice as an advisor in 2008.
Since joining Sullivan Financial, Jane has quickly learned the business and won the trust of clients. She takes pride in building personal relationships with all of her clients. Jane was named a partner in the firm several years ago and was named Managing Partner in 2016. She has been featured as a Woman in Finance by many institutions, most recently speaking at Bryant University.
In 2014 and 2015, a major financial services institution recognized Jane for her outstanding work with clients. Jane is also a member of the advisory board to an investment management firm currently managing approximately $9 billion in assets. She is one of the youngest members and one of few women ever selected for the board. Jane obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2017.
She received her B.S. from Bryant University in Rhode Island with a concentration in Financial Services. When not helping her clients to more effectively manage their finances, Jane is involved in a number of outside community pursuits. She has organized a local event to raise both food and monetary donations for Foodshare. She also is a donor to other local non-profits. Jane is also a volunteer for a charity golf tournament to raise educational scholarship funds. She also provides pro bono services to individuals and families who might not necessarily be served by a financial advisor. These people include families with large amounts of debt and little to no savings. She has helped many windowed and divorced individuals who previously did not manage their household finances. She starts with the basics of budgeting and cash flow, and assists them with larger scale financial planning for college and retirement.
Jane also serves as a volunteer educator with the Junior Achievement program. She educates middle and high school students on the basics of personal finance. The subject matter she teaches is not typically taught in their home or schools. This helps the students get a leg-up on financial essentials that are critical to long-term success. She empowers the students to take control of their finances and learn the basics of business and planning to be successful.
Jane is very active with CrossFit and resides in South Glastonbury with her husband, Colin, and rescue chocolate lab, Reagan. In her spare time, she enjoys being active outdoors by going kayaking, paddle boarding and hiking.
